Recentemente, o diretor de Sonic: O Filme, Jeff Fowler, publicou no Twitter que o personagem passaria por um redesign para torná-lo melhor – clique aqui para mais informações. Muitos fãs gostaram da notícia e até mesmo criaram suas próprias versões do personagem. As artes vêm sendo publicadas desde antes do lançamento do trailer. Confira abaixo:
